One of Mine

I thought I would get a poster up here from my own portfolio. This one is called "A Creative Mind" and was inspired by my creative process, which includes: getting the big idea, thinking, struggling, staring, sitting and then finally the creating part which takes place after many hours.

Andrzej Krajewski

Another Polish Poster. This one is by Andrzej Krajewski created for the film Pulp Fiction in 2008. Andrzej Krajewski was born in 1933 in Poland and some of his famous work was done for the 1997 Panasonic Jazz Festival and the New York Film Festival.

Roman Cieślewicz

So this is my Graphic Design Blog.

I'll hopefully be showing some of my work and work by other designers that I think are really something special.

Lets get things started with a polish designer, where better to start! His name: Roman Cieślewicz. Born in Lwow Poland in 1930. Graduated from the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts and did a lot of work for Vogue, Elle and the Mafia advertising agency.

This particular poster was introduced to me by the Graphic Design Director at Brigham Young University, Adrian Pulfer. I immediately fell in love with it. Its a polish movie poster designed in 1961.
